Beloved Principal Remembered at a Special Event

The West Seneca community is coming together to remember a beloved principal, friend, and member of the community.

Marge Borchert, who was a long-time Principal at Allendale Elementary School passed away suddenly last November, leaving a hole in the education system in Western New York.

Marge is being remembered as a fierce advocate for children, a friend, and a celebrated leader. Now, The Earth Spirit Community she belonged to is hosting the 2nd annual Tortoise and the Hare 5k Race and Fun Run on April 22 at Chestnut Ridge Park honoring the life of Marge.

Susan Robertson, a friend of Marge – said this remarkable lady will be greatly missed, “Marge was a very special lady. A true advocate for all of her children and for Earth Spirit. She was a dedicated teacher and mentor to her teachers at Allendale.”

WHAT: The Tortoise and the Hare 5K Fun Run – Run a 5K or walk in the park on a mile course.
WHERE: Chestnut Ridge Park, OP.
WHEN: Saturday, April 22, 2107 at 10 a.m.
There is still time to register.
REGISTRATION 
$30.00/person – Adult (after 4/1 $35.00)
$20.00/person – Child/Student 17 and under (after 4/1 $25.00)
Children 6 and under free!!
Includes: Race and Jaguar chip bib, T-shirt and swag bag, and all Earth Spirit activities.
