They’re back and doing it again!

Get ready for the annual Daniel McBride Memorial Cup! Founded in 2013, by Bob Duggan and Brain Fix, the event raises money and awareness for the Grand Island Relay for Life.

Daniel McBride, the event’s namesake, fought a long and hard battle with cancer. Daniel passed away shortly after the first event – and now it is continued in his memory. This is the 6th annual and will be held at HARBORCENTER (100 Washington Street, Buffalo) on May 6th from 4 to 6 p.m.

All money raised goes to the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life.

The event has raised close to $25,000 in its first 5 years. This year’s event features friends, family and coworkers of Duggan and Fix. Joining them will be former Sabre Andrew Peters, professional female hockey player Hayley Williams and local news anchor Pete Gallivan.

For more information on how you can help or more about the event itself – Check out the event Facebook Page!
