If you check out the Decorators’ Show House this year – you can’t miss the adorable room done by the amazing folks at Special Spaces Buffalo. Is it not adorable?

The Junior League of Buffalo, along with the Buffalo News, have selected a beautiful Buffalo house to redecorate. This year, they’ve selected the August Feine House. The stunning, historic home built in 1888, is a whopping 7,800 square feet.

Last November, decorators had the opportunity to bid on rooms they wanted to decorate. Then, they worked for months getting the home ready for viewing. Each room beautifully decorated by an extremely talented designer and team. I’ve always loved going to see the homes. You can get some great ideas for decorating, and of course, help the community.

What’s really cool about this house, is once the renovations are complete, it will become the newest component of the Kevin Guest House, a four-building campus hosting patients and families traveling to Buffalo for medical care. This will double the number of guests they can host, provide handicap accessibility, and provide larger suites for families.

The home is located in the heart of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, and once it’s ready to go, will be re-named after the lead sponsor of the renovation – it will be known as the Russell J. Salvatore Hospitality House on the Kevin Guest House Campus. How amazing is that?! Way to go, Mr. Salvatore.
