It’s an enormous responsibility, yes. But, it could literally change a life.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County is on a mission to provide children facing adversity with a mentor. With a strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationship. A bond that can change their lives for the better. Forever.

They can’t do it alone. They need caring, loving people to help. They also need money to get it all done. They’re holding one of their biggest fundraisers of the year very soon.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County will host their 4th Annual Women Who Move the City event. It’s a time to recognize the women who volunteer to make a difference for Big Brothers Big Sisters and other organizations throughout Western New York.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 10 from 5:30 o 8:30 p.m.

WHERE: Hotel Lafayette, 391 Washington Street, Buffalo

COST: Tickets are $50 and include hors d’oeuvres, two hours of open bar, and a swag bag filled with goodies.

All of the money raised stays right here in WNY to help make a difference in the community.

For more information, visit the organization’s website HERE.

Last year, over 350 women and men of all ages attended the event and enjoyed a one of a kind shopping experience, food, cocktails and networking with other people who are volunteering their time to make our community thrive.

About Me

Welcome to Totally Buffalo! My name is Mary Friona-Celani and I am the creator of this site! After spending 20 years in the Buffalo media, I moved on to focus on my beautiful family. Now, the time has come for a new project. I was ready for something new. Something mine.
I am born and raised in WNY and my pride runs deep. My husband, Scott and I are very happy to be raising our four daughters here.
