FREE events all around to celebrate the Week of the Young Child – Register now.

We are always looking for fun stuff for our kids, well – here we go!

There are more than 15 separate free events for children – all hosted by the Child Care Resource Network. They’re all open to the public, too!

In case you didn’t know, April 24-28 is the Week of the Young Child! So, let’s celebrate our sweeties.

Events will take place at gyms, community centers, music schools, and libraries in a variety of communities.  Parents, families, and child care programs are encouraged to sign up for events ahead of time.

Here are just some of the great events. 

WHAT:  Music & Movement Monday – Miss Anita’s Music with Mar

WHEN: April 24 at 6 p.m.

WHERE: St. Edmund’s Campus, 530 Ellicott Creek Blvd., Tonawanda

COST: FREE

AGES:  0-5, family group activity

WHAT:  Music Class – Buffalo Cello School

WHEN: April 24, 10 – 10:45 a.m.

WHERE: Buffalo Cello School, 2 Wallace Avenue, Buffalo

COST: FREE

AGES:  All ages

REGISTER:  www.buffalocello.com/registration 

 

WHAT:  Gym Class, We Rock the Spectrum

WHEN: April 25 – 10 to 11 a.m,. 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12 to 1 p.m., 3 to 4 p.m., 4 to 5 p.m.  to 6 p.m.

WHERE: WRTS Buffalo Northtowns, 5427 Transit Road, WIlliamsville AND WRTS Buffalo Southtowns, 6950 Erie Road, Derby

COST: FREE

AGES:  Children of ALL ages and ALL abilities

REGISTER:  Parents or providers must e-mail cmjohnsonlv@gmail.com with the subject line: Kid’s Day with their chosen WRTS location, top 3 time slot choices, the number and names of children who will be in attendance.
