Rev up those lawnmowers and raise money in the fight against cancer. Now this sounds like a pretty cool event.

It is the Kickin’ Grass Lawnmower Race and Classic Car Show!

There will be an afternoon of lawnmower racing on Father’s Day to raise money in the fight against cancer. Bring a lawnmower to race or just go to watch. There’s even a class for kids – mowers will be provided.

Registration starts at 10 a.m. and is $10/mower/class
Mandatory drivers meeting at 12:30
Practice runs and mower testing 1 to 2 p.m.
Races start at 2 p.m.
Awards will be given to the winners following the races.

Look for Food Trucks at 11:00 to catch some lunch.

It all happens on Sunday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 3957 West River Road, Grand Island

More details on the event FB page.
