Anybody who knows me, knows how eternally grateful I am to Mercy Flight and their staff.
They saved my daughter’s life. My Maria would not be with us right now if it wasn’t for those amazing folks – the flight nurse, the pilot and the flight medic who took such amazing care of her. They are my heroes. Today. Tomorrow. And always.
So, when asked to be on the committee for the Mercy Flight Gala – their only major fundraiser this year – I could not say no. In fact, I was so excited to say yes and I can’t wait to help! And here’s the thing – it is going to be AMAZING.
For the first time ever, the gala will be held inside their hangar. Talk about an amazing space, and an incredible opportunity to see the guts of the place that saves lives. It is a wonderful opportunity. Now, we can’t release too many details just yet – but, I can tell you – the view is priceless.
Please – if you want an amazing night of fun, with a gorgeous backdrop, and you want to help save lives – think about coming to the event. There are only 300 tickets and they’ll go FAST, so don’t think too long. So save the date – Saturday, September 29, 2018. I will see you there!
Also, if you have a small business, maybe a salon or store or restaurant (or any other business) – and you’d like to donate a gift certificate or some products for a raffle or whatnot, I will update this post and include any business that makes a donation of $25 or more. And if you make a donation that is worth $150 or more, I will write up a story on your business!!! 🙂
Do you know someone who was saved by Mercy Flight? I’d love to feature them in a future article!
