Paul Englert, Jr. was an all-American 19-year old college kid who loved lacrosse, his family and life! The beautiful young man with a bright future was taken too soon. Paul passed away from a pulmonary embolism on September 19, 2013 while attending class at UB. His parents were devastated. Heartbroken. They couldn’t quite make sense of it.
Since that tragic time – Paul and Denise Englert have made it their mission to help others by raising awareness when it comes to undetected pulmonary embolisms. But, it’s more than that. They work day in and day out to keep their son’s memory alive – by making a difference in the community. Their annual blood drive is another example of their continued work.
The Englerts are hoping you will take part in a blood drive to honor their son’s memory. It’s the 6th Annual Memorial Blood Drive in memory of Paul Englert, Jr.
