Well these adorable penguins are making all kinds of news!

First it was announced that the penguins at the Aquarium of Niagara are just a few waddles away from a brand new home. Aquarium officials held a groundbreaking for the $3.3 million penguin exhibit. The new exhibit will quadruple the size of the existing one and will allow for some cool interactive features. The new home will be a whopping 3,500 square feet with a rock beach in the living space, nesting areas for the birds and a beautiful viewing area for visitors to check out the adorable penguins in their new 15,000 gallon pool.

Now, the Aquarium is celebrating their birds with Penguin Days! That’s right – this weekend, march 4th and 5th you can join in on the fun by taking part in a group penguin encounter, checking out the penguins on stage, and talking with the folks who take care of the black and white favorites.  All activities are included with admission.

The Aquarium of Niagara is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Penguin Days are March 4th and 5th.
