New York State Trooper Joseph Gallagher was helping a stranded motorist on December 18th – when he was struck by a car on an overpass from the Long Island Expressway. The 35-year old, West Seneca Native was critically injured and has a very long road ahead.

The husband and father continues his recovery in a rehab facility in Long Island. The family appreciates all of the support and prayers.

It’s been a long road – now 8 months after the terrible accident. Friends and family are hoping to take some of the burden off the family by helping to raise money. A benefit will be held on Sunday, August 19th.

WHERE: Iron Workers Union Hall, 196 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca
