Ready. Set. VOTE!
The 2017-18 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Girls Hockey Player of the Year is scheduled to be announced in the coming days. And a hometown kiddo is in the running! She needs your votes!!
Brooke Becker is a sophomore at Orchard Park High School and boy is she doing great things in hockey.
She plays for FLOP (Frontier, Lakeshore, Orchard Park) and they won the trifecta of high school championships. Section IV Title, NYSPHSSA State Title, Western New York Federation Hockey Championship. She was named to All Federation Team, Prep Talk Female Athlete of the Week, All Bee Player of the Year, and is a verbal commit to Providence College to play D1 hockey.
So basically, she’s awesome. She TOTALLY deserves to win!
Her Aunt, Dena Salamone, tells me Brooke loves the game, “She puts 1000% in everything she does and has sacrificed a lot of other fun high school things her friends are doing to maintain her focus on hockey. She’s an all around fantastic kid. Oh, and I’m lucky enough to call her my niece.”
Take a moment and vote. And then vote again. Everyday!
