Loving Mother & Wife Relapses; Faces Cancer Again

Lynn Schneider is described as an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Those who know her say she lights up the room, makes you smile, would give you the shirt off her back, warms your heart, and makes you want to be a better person – and she does it while making it all look easy.

Lynn has a loving husband of 9 years and two beautiful and healthy girls (ages 4 & 7).

Life was wonderful for Lynn and her family.

But, last year, Lynn’s life changed forever. Upon returning home from a family trip to Colorado in July 2017, Lynn had tests done and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

It was devastating.

Life was turned upside for Lynn, Todd and their girls, Anna and Pippa. But Lynn fought and after six intense months of chemotherapy, she was in remission. The happiness was short lived as three months later came the heart-breaking news that the cancer had returned. Family and friends know what is in store for Lynn and her family. The plan, according to friend, Sarah Keating will be extremely intense, “These upcoming months of chemotherapy will be debilitating to the family as Lynn will be admitted for three days into Roswell Park Cancer Institute to receive three different intense chemotherapies. After the third chemo treatment, Lynn will be admitted back into Roswell Park Cancer Institute for four to six weeks for a bone marrow transplant.  She will be isolated from her family and friends during that time to allow her body to build itself back up. After her discharge she will begin the long in-home recovery, to allow her body to slowly build her immunity.”

Lynn hasn’t been able to work since her original diagnosis nearly one year ago. Todd is taking a 2-month family medical leave to care for his family – which will add to the financial strain.

This young, loving family needs our help. They need to know they are not alone, because they’re not.

Please considering helping this family as they continue this devastating journey. Allow them to worry about Lynn’s health and healing and not financial stress.

We are sending many thoughts and prayers to Lynn and her beautiful family.

Prayers for your miracle & a ray of hope. My brother was diagnosed with stage four non-Hodgkin’s lymph Oma 26 years ago. He also went through months of chemotherapy to be told that he was in remission and of course he was not. He underwent an autologous bone marrow transplant. Now keep in mind bone marrow transplant’s involved dangerously high levels of radiation total body irradiation. And he is a survivor not without his struggles not without health concerns but he is a survivor. He Also ended up having a kidney transplant A few years ago they gave him a whole new lease on life he is actually much healthier than he had been the last 20 years. You are in fantastic hands in Roswell. Praying for you and your medical team! you can do this. you got this. beat cancer. cancer sucks.

Hi dear, lots and lots of prayers for you love and hope. I did not what a cancer can be to a family three months ago. When i found myself diagnosed with it. The fears, stress, anxiety all that you could imagine. Going through chemo is not a joke and i can testify that. Family and friends can stand in the gap but you need to keep the faith and hope and victory will be yours. God bless you. Please feel free to contact.
