Parkdale Students Help Make Wishes Come True!

The incredible Parkdale Elementary school community spent Friday playing games for a great cause! The East Aurora primary school was filled with fun on this sunny Friday!

It was their annual Carnival for Make-A-Wish of WNY. Fourth graders set up booths with games of chance, snacks, and fun and the rest of the kids played and won!!

Yep, everyone was a winner. Kids won candy and all of the proceeds benefit the amazing organization that grants wishes to children living with a life-threatening illness.

Last year – Parkdale raised a whopping $8900 – which was enough to grant a wish! How amazing is that!?

No total yet this year, but there’s no doubt it will be even more.

The staff, students and parents of Parkdale are making wishes come true!!!! Way to go! I am INCREDIBLY proud to be a Parkdale mom!! 🙂
