Wintry weather will continue today because… it’s still winter!

The flakes have been flying for most of the morning – making for some tough travel on area roadways.  And, it looks like this will continue all day long.

According to the National Weather Service;

A Winter Storm Warning continues for Wyoming, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties until 4 a.m. Thursday. Moderately heavy snow is possible in those counties, with total snow accumulations of 7″-10″ in some areas.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee and Chautauqua counties until 4 a.m. Thursday. Travel could be difficult at times. Snow totals will be closer to 4″ -6″ Wednesday through early Thursday morning.
